Stateside (Back from the Motherland)

It's cold here.

I was hoping that the worst would be over, but I understand that it did snow here (Washington, D.C.) earlier this week. Yesterday's high was only 43 degrees Fahrenheit (6 Celsius) with a low of 24F (-4C)!!!

Oh well. The sun is shining and it is a good day. My first full day back. I woke up at 5:30 this morning...that would be 10:30 AM in Accra. LOL. I'm definitely adjusting, 'cause you know I am NOT a morning person. :-)

Drove around the city today. Thinking about the future...thinking about returning to Africa. So much more there to discover and experience.

To all my new friends in Accra: I miss you a lot already. Crying.

Welcome home. Sounds like the trip was a great one. Glad you had a good time. I enoyed the pictures. Anxiously looking forward to seeing all of the shots you took of everything there.
